Mindfulness has to be mindful of something. There are four areas of Mindfulness that have to be penetrated in order for joy to be nourished, for our suffering to be transformed and finally for 1 © 2022 Michael Gregory insight or Vipassana to be obtained. In this weekend retreat, we will use the wisdom of the Buddha's Satipatthana Sutta. It is essential that Buddhist practitioners know the experience and intellectual understanding of what the Buddha taught prior to attempting to master other Buddhist paths. These teachings are the sutra teachings of the path to the Sutra Mahamudra experience of enlightenment. Countless beings have attained enlightenment by dedicating themselves to these profound instructions.

Prerequisites:

This retreat is open to every level of meditation practitioner. Foundational in this case does not

mean beginning. It is an excellent meditation and study retreat for all.

Retreat Schedule

During the retreat, you'll receive daily guidance from Lama Michael, Lama Kinley, and Lama Adam on the practices of Tsa Lung Trulkhor, Trekcho and Thogal, with teachings, pointing out instructions, and guided meditations. You'll also have the opportunity to practice these precious instructions in-depth and participate in daily restorative Tibetan yoga.

About Lama Michael

Lama Michael Gregory started this community over 25 years ago, as a former Buddhist Monk and Western Buddhist Teacher. He has shared that he can never fully repay the debt of kindness shown to him by several revered figures in Buddhism, including the XIV Dalai Lama, the XVII Karmapa--Orgyen Trinley Dorje, Gyaltsab Rinpoche, Bokar Rinpoche, Thrangu Rinpoche, HH Dodrupchen Rinpoche and Penor Rinpoche. These teachers have offered the empowerment cycles of Rinchen Terzo and Dam Ngak Dzod.
