Welcome to Dzogchen and Buddhist Teachings, where we offer a comprehensive and interactive online and in person online course system that offers the complete Buddhist path to liberation.
Our courses follow the traditional stages of Lam Rim, which is also known as the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment in Mahayana Buddhism. Our courses also offer Result to Path instructions from Mahamudra, Dzogchen and Highest Yoga Tantra teachings. In this way yogis who participate in the courses are offered the most in depth opportunity to experience the teachings in a experiential and transformational way. By becoming a member you have access to all 27 courses.
It is an expansive opportunity to deepen the level of awareness, commitment to the community and to the teachings. Through deeper connection with the teachers, community and teachings, progress is made on the path. Realizing the benefits of this level of participation provides the conditions that support awakening.
This intensive program provides step-by-step instructions on the path to enlightenment as would be taught in a traditional Buddhist monastery in plain English, in a modern and highly practical context.
Each course builds upon the other as the practitioner receives the very pith of instructions and accumulates wisdom and merit that is supportive toward deeper practices and insights. As you finish a course you will be automatically enrolled in the next course. Please make sure to click the "Complete and Continue" button on each lesson.
Teachings are designed to help you gain a deep understanding of the classical teachings of Buddhism in a clear and lucid way. Our Teachers, Lama Michael and Lama Phillip and many other teachers from diverse backgrounds and genders have years of experience in teaching and long-term retreat experience.
About Lama Michael Gregory
Lama Michael Gregory is a Buddhist teacher with more than thirty years of training in the Indo-Tibetan and Theravāda traditions. A long-time student of HH Penor Rinpoche and other great masters such as His Holiness the Dalai Lama, HE Gyaltsab Rinpoche and HE Thrangu Rinpoche, he has completed extensive solitary and group retreats and has guided traditional three-year retreats in the West.
As the founding teacher and Executive Director of Mindfulness Meditation Centers he has taught thousands of classes and retreats and helped train a new generation of lamas and meditation teachers, women and men from diverse backgrounds, who now carry these teachings into their own communities. The intention from the beginning has been simple: that no one be turned away from the Dharma for lack of funds, and that the lineage find fresh, authentic voices in the modern world.
Students know him for his rare ability to keep the depth and integrity of the Dharma intact while speaking in a way that is clear, psychologically attuned and directly relevant to the pressures of contemporary life. Many describe his teachings as quietly life-changing: practical, uncompromising in their honesty, and rooted in genuine compassion.
Today Lama Michael leads the Quiet Mind Wellness Centers, Mindfulness Meditaion Centers and the Pemako Retreat Center near San Diego. He teaches weekly online, offers seasonal retreats and continues to mentor students and teachers who wish to ground their lives in meditation, wisdom and compassion.
He now lives in the forested hills of Tuscany, near Florence, with his wife, two cats and two dogs, dedicating his life to practice, writing, retreat guidance and the wellbeing of all who feel called to walk a path of awakening that is both deeply traditional and very human.
