An Explanation of The Seminal Teaching of Buddha Nature
The Third Turning of the Buddha's Wheel of Dharma is a 20-week in-depth exploration of the seminal teaching of the Nature of Buddha. This course aims to delve into the concept of Buddha Nature, our innate potential for awakening, which serves as the foundation for various Buddhist paths, including Zen, Yogacara, and Tibetan traditions. The teachings emphasize that enlightenment is not a distant goal but something accessible in the present moment. The course will draw upon the Mahayana Uttaratantra Shastra and the Five Treaties of Maitreya to elucidate the nature of enlightenment and the qualities of Buddhahood.
