Mindfulness, Calm Abiding, Mahamudra and Dzogchen
Explore Jigme Lingpa’s sacred text and engage in practices that reveal the appearance of pure deities. This retreat offers insight into the nature of mind and manifestation.
Learn what it means to forgive, why we should forgive and who is actually to be forgiven. This is an inquiry into harboring guilt, hurt and resentment, and composting old wounds into fresh soil; laying the ground for a regenerative and transformative garden. In this one day retreat, Lama Choying will take us through the discovery of how Cheri Huber, Desmond Tutu and the Kor Sum of Buddhist path, can teach us about the path of forgiveness, why it is necessary and what is in the way of granting it. Tissues not provided 😉
Every thought that arises, every word we utter, every reaction we have has a radiating effect on our internal world—and therefore, on our external world. So we ask: How much of this is actually intentional? Pain and suffering come from attachment. Attachment means we are not in the present. If we are not in the present, we are generally not being mindful. And if we are not being mindful, we tend to follow habitual patterns. In this one-day retreat, we will examine the steps of the Satipatthana Sutta that create our base—our foundation—for mindfulness and presence. We will also explore the many ways we veer from presence. When we can recognize and become familiar with the lassos that grab our attention and pull us from the present, we can become more empowered and more intentional. We learn that we always have a base to come home to, one that is always with us, so we no longer need to depend on external circumstances for happiness or fulfillment.
The fundamental issue can often be that as conditioned beings we can't see reality as it truly is. On this day retreat we will be exploring themes from the Life Of The Buddha, particularly the three marks of conditioned existence and how by applying the principles of meditation and Buddhist insight, we can begin to experience the path of awakening, leading towards freedom from suffering.

Enhancing Practice: Learn advanced methods to stabilize and deepen your non-dual practice. 2. Removing Hindrances: Identify and eliminate obstacles such as mistaken views and subtle distractions. 3.
